Crownarms Plate Carrier System
This plate carrier system is incredibly modular, allowing you to easily customize your loadout to fit your needs. Whether you're building a heavy SWAT team loadout or downsizing to a lightweight vest, this system has you covered. With its versatile design, you can easily add or remove pouches and accessories to create the perfect setup for any mission.

The harness serves as a sturdy frame for your body armor, allowing you to carry a heavy loadout with ease. By distributing the weight evenly across your back, the harness helps to reduce fatigue and increase mobility, making it an essential piece of equipment for any tactical use. Soldiers use external ruck sack frames for back packs, why wouldn't LE want that for their daily weight?

This harness does the same job as the Crye Precision AVS Harness. It is difficult to understand the need or the use of such a harness, so here you can see its evolution how it interfaces with your plate bags.

The Armor Harness is by far the best way to carry heavy armor and equipment, and it is also the sleekest padding system. Using the shoulder pads and pontoons shown next are cheaper, but they do not carry the weight well and add more bulk around the shoulders.

You can fasten your primary cummerbund to the harness as well, using malice clips. These make a simple, secure and sleek bridge between the two.

Most plate carriers come with a padding system that is cost-effective compared to the harness. Although it is not ideal for carrying heavy weight, it does an excellent job of making the armor feel more comfortable and less cumbersome to wear, or it can make the armor lay nice against bony body types. Each pad is easily replaceable and washable.

The padding is velcroed on and allows for ample breathability around the armor, which also adds some standoff for any bulky equipment on the cummerbund. The pontoon pads and shoulder pads can be machine washed for all sweat and dust collected, but cannot be machine dried.

The either suspension system will work for you, their differences in bulk and added weight is negligible, but nothing compares to the harness for a 30 pound loadout.

Not everyday requires officers to dress like a SWAT team breacher, so with our plate carrier system, you can down scale to just what you need. With angle armor plates and no need for rifle mags, the carrier can be scaled to only carry admin pockets, some medical, a body cam and a front and rear armor plate.

Without the need for so much kit, our plate bags can be run with no padding at all and still be comfortable. The shoulder straps are two inches wide for generous weight dispersion.
